The small workshop Forum on Probability, Statistics, Algebra and Combinatorics / Forum sur Probabilit\'{e}, Statistiques, Alg\'{e}bre et Combinatoire 2012 (FoPSAaC/FsPSAeC) will take place in Nagoya, Japan, at Nagoya University, on July 28 (Sat)--29 (Sun), 2012.

Topics and Scopes

Topics of this workshop include

E.g., zonal polynomials, Plancheral measures, random matrices, Jack polynomials, Gelfand pairs, Groebner bases and MCMC, social decisions, designs, and so on.

This workshop Forum on Probability, Statistics, Algebra and Combinatorics / Forum sur Probabilit\'{e}, Statistiques, Alg\'{e}bre et Combinatoire 2012 is NOT the international conference called Formal Power Series and Algebraic Combinatorics/Séries Formelles et Combinatoire Algébrique (FPSAC/SFCA). Soon after this workshop, the FPSAC/SFCA will take place in Nagoya University. The place of both conference will be the same, Nagoya University. The buildings, however, will be different. See the official web page for more information of the FPSAC/SFCA.
