The 6th East Asian Conference
in Harmonic Analysis and Applications

Announcement

The 6th East Asian Conference in Harmonic Analysis and Applications will be held at Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, during the period of August 3－7, 2018. The conference is aimed to stimulate and boost progress of harmonic analysis and its applications and to encourage interactive collaborations of people working in various fields of mathematical analysis in East Asia.


Dates

The lectures will be given from the morning of August 3 to the afternoon of August 7. For people coming from abroad, August 2 is the arriving day and August 8 is the leaving day.


Venue

Graduate School of Science, Osaka University, Toyonaka Campus, Machikaneyama 1-1, Toyonaka, Osaka, 560-0043, Japan.
Lectures will be given in the Nambu Yoichiro Hall and in some rooms in the Graduate School of Science.


Accommodation

For participants from China and Korea, rooms are already reserved in Toyoko Inn Osaka Itami Airport

The hotel, Toyoko Inn Osaka Itami Airport is located in 5 minutes walking distance from Osaka Itami Airport. Notice that Osaka Itami Airport (=ITM), which is sometimes called Osaka Airport or Osaka International Airport, is different from Kansai International Airport (=KIX). From Kansai International Airport, please take a bus going to "Osaka Airport/Hotarugaike Station" and get off at "Osaka Airport North Terminal". It will take about 80 minutes. Please check the web page of Limousine Bus.

To get to the Nambu Yoichiro Hall from Toyoko Inn Osaka Itami Airport, please use Osaka Monorail. Get on Osaka Monorail at Osaka Airport Station (大阪空港) or at Hotarugaike Station (蛍池) and get off at Shibahara Station (柴原). Both Osaka Airport Station and Hotarugaike Station are 10 or 13 minutes by walk from the hotel. The monorail drives as Osaka Airport Station ==> Hotarugaike Station ==> Shibahara Station, which takes 7 minutes. Notice that another railway, Hankyu Railway, also runs through Hotarugaike. If you use Hotarugaike Station, be sure to take Osaka Monorail, not Hankyu Railway. The Nambu Yoichiro Hall is located in 5 minutes walking distance from Shibahara Station. Please see Campus Map.



Registration Fee

The registration fee is 10000JPY. The fee is reduced for students and for people who do not use the accommodation reserved by the organizers. The registration fee does not cover meals.
Please pay the registration fee in cash at the registration desk in the venue of the conference.


Banquet

The banquet is held on August 4 at a restaurant in the campus. Participants who paid the registration fee are invited to the banquet.
